Billing Analyst

Billing analyst will coordinate with other departments to ensure sales and orders are correctly billed. This role will set clients up for billing, work with vendors to resolve issue or concerns, and ensure that invoices correspond with balance sheet reports.


  • Issue and distribute invoices to clients and suppliers as needed.
  • Maintain and review the company’s account status.
  • Process new contracts and sales.
  • Collaborate with other departments to make certain the accuracy of the billing process.
  • Address customer questions and answer their queries.
  • Keep a track of all the transactions and accounts receivables on a daily basis.
  • Assist customers with account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and present analytical reports.
  • Support monthly account cleanups and audits.
  • Resolve any billing mistakes or issues.
  • Adhere to the accounting policies and principles according to the company terms.
  • Be an active member of decisions related to budgeting.
  • Act as a liaison between Operations and Finance departments.
  • Build Customer Relationships.


  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Billing Analyst or comparable accounting role.
  • Solid understanding of electronic billing processes.
  • Outstanding knowledge of financial analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite, Fieldglass, Beeline, Ariba, Coupa
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, without assistance will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to meet tight timelines is a must.

Physical Requirements: ·

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
