Summary
As the Director of Solution Architecture, you will be responsible for leading our team of Solution Architects to help achieve business outcomes for both Defy and our client base. This role interacts with manufacturing partners, internal business partners and outside clients in a fast-paced, interactive atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Lead in the development of security strategies and implementation supporting the day to day needs of the end user and their roadmap
- You will provide technical thought leadership in overall security solutions development.
- Ability to build relationships which bridge the gap between technically inclined engineers and senior business leadership.
- Serves as the subject matter expert for Defy Security and our customers. Must demonstrate the ability in a pre-sales capacity to identify business issues and propose solutions/approaches that effectively address these business issues.
- Design and solution complete security programs to meet client objectives, that includes technology and services
- Develop, promote, measure, and interpret the impact of Objectives and Key Results (OKR’s) in alignment with Cybersecurity Practice and overall Company Strategy
- Demonstrate Cybersecurity industry thought leadership through end user customer and partner engagement and internal enablement
- Educate team on sales, technical, and business acumen to support practice OKR’s
- Ensures training and development on reporting and metrics management, internal systems and processes to enhance the accuracy of sales forecasts and processes.
- Mentors and motivates sales team members to ensure satisfactory performance.
- Track record of building and leading high performance teams
- Working with Defy Security’s Focused Partners to drive strategic initiatives and Go To Market strategies
- Function with a high degree of integrity and with an ability to keep information confidential
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will have direct reports.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA or equivalent and applicable work experience.
- CISSP or other security certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience related to cyber security.
- 3+ years of experience managing and mentoring a team
- Ability to travel within assigned regions or assigned accounts.
- Experience with the following highly preferred: Microsoft, O365, LDAP, Active Directory, ServiceNow, SailPoint, Qualys, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Splunk and other leading security tools.
- Proficient across multiple operating systems such as Microsoft, Apple and Linux.
- Familiarity with Cloud (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) environments and best practices for securing these environments with experience in Azure, AWS or GCP a plus.
- Familiarity with incident response tools and digital forensics concepts preferred.
- Ability to work in a highly adaptable and nimble team environment with responsive communication.
- Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills; and demonstrated ability to interact with technical, non-technical, and business members of the organization.
- Ability to accurately interpret business direction and clarify technology’s alignment with stakeholder needs.
