Field Marketing Manager


As a member of the Defy Security Marketing team, the Field Marketing Manager will play a key role in creating awareness and driving revenue with the Defy Security sales teams through events, campaigns, messaging, and creating partnerships in Defy Security sales regions. 

This role will be a highly visible marketing leadership role in working with sales leadership, Defy Security partners, and customers. 


  • Plan and execute field marketing programs, campaigns, and events 
  • Analyze field sales market needs and trends 
  • Provide unique, insightful, and inspiring experiences 
  • Deliver other marketing programs and campaigns as needed (mail, email, social) 
  • Creation of compelling content, visuals, and stories for marketing programs from source content and material 
  • Work both independently and collaboratively in teams to collectively achieve marketing goals 
  • Host events that are in-person and virtual 
  • Drive registrations, attendance, and follow up for an effective experience for customers, partners, and sales teams 
  • Gather data to analyze and report results to key constituents 
  • Manage the planned budget and actual expenses for marketing programs, campaigns and events

Desired Experience 

  • Business 
  • At least 5 years business experience 
  • Degree in business or marketing 
  • Experience in marketing, sales, event planning and management 
  • Experience in software and technology 
  • Strong communications skills in writing, presenting, collaboration, influencing 
  • Strong skills in office suite applications (Microsoft o365, Google Suite) 
  • Familiarity with event management software and virtual event (webinar) software 
  • Experience to manage several in flight projects with different priorities, teams, and outcomes 
  • Experience working through challenges to create positive outcomes 
  • Experience in understanding how to translate technical features and capabilities to business outcomes
