Justin Domachowski
Founder & CEO
In founding Defy, Justin brings over a decade of experience, working with some of the world’s largest financial institutions and enterprise customers while building strong relationships within the CISO community. He led the way at Accuvant and Optiv as the top performer by helping clients strategize for the future, and support their teams’ initiatives. His total focus on customers’ success grew Defy into what it is today.
Justin’s four children and wife keep him happy and busy when he’s out of the office. He also spends time serving his community and volunteering.

Jeremy Gilbert
Cofounder & Chief Operating Officer
A Defy co-founder and 16-year veteran of the IT industry, Jeremy has substantial experience in internal operations, having held direct management roles in client operations and sales support at Optiv and Accuvant. He’s built the company’s operations department from the ground up.
Jeremy lives in his hometown of Buffalo, where he claims to love even the winters. When he’s not doting on his wife and young daughters, he’s usually watching live music or playing guitar.

Becky Vinton
Chief Human Resources Officer
Becky Vinton recently joined Defy from Imperva, where she was as a global Human Resources leader in the cybersecurity industry. With over 20 years of experience across cybersecurity, technology, and other industries, she has a proven track record of delivering value-added outcomes through a customer-centric approach. She excels in creating high-performance HR strategies and impactful solutions in dynamic, high-growth environments, enhancing organizational performance by aligning HR with business objectives. She holds an MBA and a BS in Business from Point Park University, along with several certifications in human resources, leadership, and change management.
Becky resides in Southwestern Pennsylvania with her husband, identical twin daughters, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Outside of work, she is active in her community and enjoys volunteering. She also loves visiting charming coffee shops for a latte or espresso while improving her French skills on Duolingo.
Rich Douros
Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer, Rich is responsible for Defy’s revenue generating functions of Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships. Having spent half of his career on the OEM Vendor side, and the other half on the Cybersecurity VAR side, Rich brings a wealth of knowledge to Defy and its’ client base. Prior to Defy, he spent over 12 years at Optiv as both an individual contributor and leading an enterprise team in the West. He has garnered numerous accolades and awards for continually being a top producer and President’s Club achiever multiple times over. However, his strongest achievement is the loyalty in which his client base follows in him. Rich is very active within the CISO community with advising and collaborating to assist in securing their infrastructure, data, and brand.
Rich resides in Northern California with his wife and son. Outside of work he cherishes his downtime with family and friends enjoying barbecuing and hiking. But his real passion is golf, with a goal of one day getting his handicap below 10 (which won’t happen for a long time it seems!).
Michael Klein
Chief Financial Officer
Michael joins Defy with 25+ years of progressive financial leadership as both an executive and board member. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Velocity Solutions, a SaaS fintech company supporting retail banking and digital lending. Michael’s experience includes PwC, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Dycom Industries where he was involved in M&A, SEC reporting and financial management.
Michael lives in South Florida where he enjoys boating, fishing and traveling with his wife and three children.
Kym Kaelber
Vice President of Services Operations
With nearly a decade in cybersecurity operations, Kym is a super-networker and relationship-builder. She relishes delivering exceptional experiences on behalf of Defy Security customers. Whether she is working directly with customers to customize a contract or building relationships with top-tier cloud-migration consultants, Kym brings optimism and a commitment to excellence to every project and conversation.
Kym lives in Ohio, where she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to the California coast, and having a great cup of coffee.
